There are three residential areas in the centre of the Costa del Sol, belonging to the single Municipality of Benalmádena :
- Benalmádena-Pueblo : this is a traditional whitewashed Andalusian village with narrow streets and a smell of orange blossom.
- Arroyo de la Miel considered to be the municipal centre with an intense business life concentrated in lots of shops, sporting facilities, post office, medical centre, trainstation etc..
- Benalmádena-Costa is a cosmopolitan area with wonderful beaches, the Marina , the Casino, Bars and Discos, Golf Course and the Beach Promenade

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN REALIZE
There are lots of activities you can realize in Benalmádena as it offers the biggest diversity in tourist offer on the Costa del Sol , for this reason it obtained its first reward from the Andalusian Council as LEADING TOURISTIC MUNICIPALITY OF ANDALUCIA.

- Leisure : Tivoli Amusement Park, Zoo, Waterpark, Dolphin Show, Selwo Marina, Parque de la Palmoma , Sea-Life Aquarium, Equestrian Exhibitions, Minigolf, Casino and Sala Fortuna with Flamenco & International Shows. Market Places, Excursions in 4 x 4 , Rent-a-Quad, Cable Cars to the summit of the Calamorro Mountain .
